AIIMS NORCET Educational Qualification:

• To be eligible for AIIMS NORCET, candidates must hold a degree in MBBS/BDS/B.S. Nursing from a recognized institution or equivalent.

• Candidates for DM/M.Ch courses must hold an MD/MS/DNB or an equivalent degree from an accredited university.

• Before the start of the course, candidates must have completed their mandatory rotating internship/Practical training.

• The minimal required cumulative grade varies depending on the candidate’s course and category. For example, for MD/MS programs, candidates from general categories must earn at least 55% on their qualifying examination, whereas SC/ST/OBC candidates must earn 50%.

• Courses leading to a Bachelor of Science in nursing require a minimum of 55 per cent in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology on the 10+2 exam.

• Candidates must also satisfy the age requirements, which vary across courses and categories.

• In addition to these educational prerequisites, candidates may be required to meet other eligibility requirements unique to each course, such as work experience or language proficiency.

The Selection Process for the AIIMS NORCET 2023

AIIMS NORCET, which stands for “Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test,” is an entrance test given all over India to find nursing officers for AIIMS hospitals.

• The AIIMS NORCET Selection Process 2023 includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) that is done in two rounds, Stage I and Stage II.

• Stage I of the AIIMS NORCET Selection Process 2023 will be a CBT with 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) about the basics of nursing, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, medical-surgical nursing, etc.

• Candidates who pass Stage I CBT can take Stage II of the AIIMS NORCET Selection Process 2023, which will also be a CBT with 100 MCQs in areas like nursing management, community health nursing, juvenile nursing, etc.

• The AIIMS NORCET Selection Process for 2023 will be done online at test sites all over India.

• Candidates who successfully clear both stages of the AIIMS NORCET Selection Process 2023 will be called for a personal interview.
