Computer-based Test
- You can only attempt the CRPF SI ASI Steno exam in English and Hindi.
- The CRPF SI ASI test will be administered via a Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) that consists of multiple-choice questions.
- The CRPF ASI test takes 90 minutes to complete in its entirety.
- Sections B, C, and D of the CRPF ASI Exam will be multilingual.

- The CRPF ASI test carries a 100-point maximum score.
Skill Test- Typing
- Applicants who pass the computer-based test will be contacted for the next round of hiring, which includes the skill test, physical standard test, document verification, and a comprehensive medical examination, all of which are scheduled at different CRPF centres.
- The candidates will have to set at a rate of 80 words per minute for 10 minutes.
- Candidates will be given a computer transcription time limit of 50 minutes for English and 65 minutes for Hindi.
- The candidate could be considered to have “Failed” the skill test if they make more than 40 mistakes or 5% of the 800 words they are required to dictate in 10 minutes at a rate of 80 words per minute.
Selection Process of CRPF SI ASI Recruitment
Written Examination: A written test is the initial step in the selection process. There will be objective-type questions covering general intelligence, mathematical aptitude, English/Hindi, as well as general knowledge.
